Congratulations, Mr. Davis

As many people probably already know, today is rapper Gucci Mane's wedding! In order to honor him on his special day I thought I would write a blog post about his incredible glow up throughout the past two years. As you can see from the picture above, Gucci looks incredibly happy and healthy, so much to the point where I can't help smiling with him. But it wasn't always this way for old Gucci. In the beginning of his career he faced drug addiction and multiple arrests. He was unable to truly blossom into the rapper that he was meant to be because his legal issues and substance abuse held him back. He said in an interview that sometimes he would record a song and not even remember the words he was singing.
He was released from his most recent stint in jail in the summer of 2016 and ever since then there has been rumors that he is a Gucci clone. He used social media to show off the new and improved Gucci Mane when he got out and his transformation is so incredible that it is actually something to be shown off. He emerged from prison with a brand new album, which was 10x deeper than anything he had ever produced. He also showed off a new, slimmed down physique, a giant white smile, and an outlook on life that is truly exemplary. Because of this, people claim that he is a clone of the old Gucci, the one who was 70 pounds heavier and who always carried a styrofoam cup with purple liquid in it accompanied by a blunt.

But I see a man who has bettered himself in ever aspect of his life. No longer does he give into the woes of the hip hop world, the ones that often leave to depression, addiction, and sometimes even death. Its easy to look Gucci Mane up on Instagram and see that he is truly happy and healthy and completely in love with his life and his fiance. Even the Trap God gets tiered of the trap life.
